Red Dead Online How to Make a New Character

There are a few reasons that you might want to create a new character in Red Dead Online. You might want to change whether the character is male or female or, reset your honor without paying, or maybe you just feel like starting from scratch.  Regardless of why you want to create a new character, there’s only one way to do it.  That is by deleting your current character and starting over.

You’ll need to delete your Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Character

To create a new character in Red Dead Online you’re going to need to go to the main menu and select the player option. In this menu you’ll be able to view stats for your character and your horse.  However, this is also the place that you can start the process of creating a new character.  First you’ll need to hover over your character on the left hand side of the screen and hold the X/Square button to delete this character.

Once you’ve done this you will be able to start Red Dead Online with a brand new character and it will take you through the character creation process and opening moments of the game again.

Deleting your character is a permanent choice.  Once you’ve gone through with it, all of the progress that you’ve made in Red Dead Online will be gone and you will need to start over again with the new character.  Unfortunately, there is no indication from Rockstar Games that they will allow Red Dead Online players to have more than one character in the game.
